ABSTRACT
This study explores how school libraries in Northern Ghana foster digital literacy and collaborative problem-solving among students. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected via interviews, document analysis, and direct observations. Findings reveal that libraries serve as hubs that emphasize digital access, skill development, peer collaboration, technology integration, resource availability, librarian role, equity, and critical thinking development, though constrained by funding and infrastructure. Recommendations include integrating libraries into educational policy and investing in digital capacity-building for librarians and students. The originality of this research is that it provides new perspectives and empirical evidence on how libraries contribute to contemporary education.
