ABSTRACT
This paper explores the transformative role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the management and supervision of employees across operational, middle, and executive levels. Drawing on data from surveys, face-to-face interviews, and informal polls involving 38 participants from diverse industries, the research highlights how ICT tools, ranging from real-time monitoring systems and communication platforms to data analytics dashboards, have reshaped workplace dynamics. At the operational level, ICT enhances efficiency and accountability but may raise privacy concerns. Middle managers benefit from streamlined workflows, remote supervision capabilities, and continuous feedback systems, though challenges around trust and engagement persist in hybrid work models. Executive leadership leverages ICT for strategic decision-making, transparent communication, and risk management. The paper emphasizes that while ICT offers clear advantages in improving productivity and employee development, thoughtful implementation is critical to avoid micromanagement, data overload, and exclusion due to technological gaps. Ultimately, when aligned with values of transparency and trust, ICT can foster inclusive, supportive, and high-performing organizational cultures, enabling both leaders and employees to thrive in an increasingly digital work environment.
