ABSTRACT
This paper examines how intentional consumerism can serve as the foundation for building a successful business within the saturated and environmentally taxing retail industry- an issue central to modern entrepreneurship and innovative business strategy. It addresses a research question of how businesses can successfully leverage sustainability trends through innovative product development, strategic branding, and pricing strategics that appeal to the modern ethical consumer. The paper uses a method of reviewing current academic literature, analyzing successful case studies like Patagonia and circular fashion brands, and exploring consumer behavior data to obtain and process needed information. By examining ethical sourcing, green marketing strategies, pricing for sustainable products, and consumer engagement, the study highlights best practices for companies to align profit with purpose. Drawing on current research in sustainability trends and marketing strategies, provides a roadmap for businesses seeking to thrive in a rapidly changing marketplace. It finds that entrepreneurs and businesses that prioritize sustainable material sourcing, implement transparent and values-driven branding, and develop pricing strategies aligned with ethical practices are more likely to succeed in today’s eco-conscious market. These factors significantly influence consumer trust, brand loyalty, and market differentiation in a competitive environment where authenticity and purpose-driven missions are increasingly demanded. The research findings imply that entrepreneurs and emerging businesses can benefit from this research by adopting sustainable strategies to build long-term brand value, meet evolving customer expectations, and remain competitive in the rapidly changing retail landscape.
