ABSTRACT

This paper explores how healthcare technologies have transformed care delivery to patients with a particular reference to Alaska. The paper first examines how electronic health records help build communication among stakeholders. Then, it studies how remote healthcare services technologies change the delivery of services. Finally, it scrutinizes how patient experiences are transformed by adopting technological components. Through a survey of residents, Alaskans’ acceptance and suggestions for improving healthcare services are displayed. The findings of the research will be of value to policy makers and healthcare organizations.
