Integrating Agentic AI into Sport Management Education: Pedagogical Innovations and Lesson Design

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this pedagogical innovations paper is to encourage technology-enhanced learning (TEL) by sharing two lesson plans for sport management instructors to intentionally integrate emerging, practice-based, artificial intelligence (AI) tools (Julius.ai and ElevenLabs) into the sport management classroom. Each lesson plan also emphasizes the importance of having students critically think about and discuss the ethical implications, opportunities, and challenges of utilizing and adopting the technology AI technology in real-world sport organizations.
